The Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) of the Italian Ministry of agricultural food, forestry and tourism policies (MIPAAFT) has been collaborating with the journal “Agro-Food Economics/Food Economy”, a peer-reviewed academic journal dealing with socio-economic, political, legal and technical issues related to agriculture and food systems. The magazine is published by the publisher Franco Angeli on behalf of the Italian Society of Agri-Food Economics (SIEA). As part of this collaboration, CREA is promoting the publication of a Special Issue on the theme “Sustainable management of water resources: potential of the agricultural sector for environmental protection” with a view to offering researchers and technologists the opportunity to meet and provide important insights on the evolution of water resources, highlighting their critical importance and potential for the future.
