The EC-funded project RECOPHARMA will be hosting a virtual Science Café at the University of Udine’s Online event included in the ESOF (Euroscience Open Forum, Trieste www.esof.eu) – “Science in the City” festival programme. The Science Café will take place on Thursday 3rd September from 17.30 – 19.00 following the second day of the RECOPHARMA M33 Project Meeting.
The focus of the Science Caféwill be a discussion about RECOPHARMA activities, the occurrence and fate of Recalcitrant Cytostatic Drugs (CDs) in the water cycle, and the project’s outputs and expected impact. This informal event aims at fostering interaction between all participants and experts as well as developing knowledge and awareness of responsible water and treatment of polluted water effluents. Project partner Leonardo Piccinetti (Europe for Business) commented: “This opportunity for engagement will help stakeholders and the public to fully appreciate the interconnection of water with so many aspects of city life, and the importance of RECOPHARMA’s work.”
This will be the third in a series of four Science Cafes organised by the RECOPHARMA Project in France, Italy, Cuba and Spain.
