On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 15.00 (CET), a webinar entitled “Protecting your brand abroad: Latin America” will be held. Organized by the Latin America IPR SME Helpdesk team, it aims to provide European SMEs with an overview of how they can best protect their brand in Latin American markets. Specialists will offer practical information on how to register, protect and enforce trademark rights in Brazil, Colombia or Mexico, among other regions, and how to effectively protect the logo of the company or product.
During the course of the seminar, experts will be responsible for instructing the participants in the process of registration, protection and application of trademarks in Latin America, and will outline the different methods of protecting the company logo and branding. The webinar will include a presentation of various case studies of EU SMEs that have experienced and overcome issues related to the protection of trademarks in Latin America, among other highly relevant content.
