International Symposium CIDEM RECOPHARMA contribution

Today RECOPHARMA celebrated a technical and validation results workshop during the I  International Symposium workshop in

The Symposium, which took place in the hybrid modality, brought together numerous national and foreign specialists, where the most recent results of Research, Development and Innovation of Biopharmaceuticals  presented and debated. Professor Manuel Valiente RECOPHARMA, principal investigator from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona  from Grup Tecniques de Separacio end Quimica present the project overview and latest results. Prof. Valiente quotes the key role of research and innovation collaboration to the design, development validation demonstration of a novel process by sequential integration of the potentials offered by Molecular Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) Reagentless Thermosorption (RTS).

Mr. Leonardo Piccinetti RECOPHARMA, communication manager from Europe for Business Ltd presented Recopharma lessons from stakeholder engagement, project viability and visibility for new project ideas. RECOPHARMA was a success story for was selected as one of the nine projects in the European Union Implementation Plan for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants  EU commission staff working document. The Stockholm Convention is a global treaty to protect human health and the environment from Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). POPs are a group of chemicals that persist in the environment, may bioaccumulate in food and human tissues and are toxic.

Ms Lisandra Garcia from CIDEM presented her experience in RECOPHARMA activities. Two additional scientific presentations also presented the design assembly for the pilot plan for RECOPHARMA technologies from Mondelo A, Torá JA, Prado OJ, García L, Fariñas T, Denet Luaces M, Pérez G, Valiente M, Padrón AS and from Pérez L, Xue X, Ye L.
