The EC-funded project RECOPHARMA will be welcoming visitors to Booth 18 at the EC annual flagship event, “Science is Wonderful!”, as part of European Research and Innovation Days.This year, “Science is Wonderful!” will take place online from 22nd – 24th September on an exciting virtual platform delivering an array of innovative, interactive digital activitiesto highlight some of the solutions that EU-funded research and innovation projects are developing to address the COVID-19 crisis and its aftermath, as well as the priorities that are at the core of both European and Global recovery efforts.
RECOPHARMA will be engaging with schoolchildren, policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and citizens,raising public awareness of how drugs and medicines that treat COVID-19 and other diseases can enter our environment, and how the project is developing ways to recover them through wastewater treatment. Virtual visitors will be able to experience science online from their living room and contribute to ground-breaking developments through dynamic activities, videos, games, quizzes, design-thinking and chatting with European and international researchers in live interactive sessions. These sessions will let participants contribute to propelling Europe’s recovery and pave the way to a digital, green,and resilient future.
